He was a pioneer in the field of damage prevention back then and he still is as passionate about it today as he was back in 2002. I've never met anyone who cares as much about what they do as Charlie does.

I first worked with Charlie when I was helping Tampa Electric Company install a new 230 kV line in Auburndale. When engineering transmission lines it is critical during line construction to locate all existing sub-surface infrastructure located in the designated area of the proposed pole locations. Charlie did a great job and that was the beginning of a relationship that I've cherished since.

I have found Charlie and the entire crew to be extremely thorough in finding and documenting buried utilities / underground obstructions and delivering documented results of their discovery work in electronic and / or hardcopy books for each project. Regardless of the time table or type of request, Southeast Locates has always exceeded our document requirement expectations. Southeast Locates,. always provides accurate pictures and plan drawing views of all buried utility lines, showing their exact relationship to the proposed pole locations within inches.

Whenever I get to pick my subcontractor for soft digs, I pick Charlie. However, I don't always get to pick, so I have worked with several subsurface contractors in and around the state of Florida.
